We so much enjoyed sitting in the patio and tasting this new creation. I finally found the secret to perfect fried mozzarella balls. It’s the double-coating!! Never thought it could work so well. Mozzarella just melts without messing up everything in the pan. If you get cherry size mozzarella you save yourself some prep time! Steps are: flour, eggs, bread crumbs, and then again eggs and bread crumbs. 30 seconds per batch in vegetable oil (I use canola oil) at 360 degrees.
I served them with grilled lamb and sautéed spinach – delightful!
